ABSTRACT
We discuss the concept of empowerment and how it is not a trick, but rather a belief system. We emphasise the importance of valuing both oneself and others in order to achieve empowerment. The speaker suggests that our ego and self-importance often hinder our ability to recognise the value that others bring to the table. We argue that in order to empower others, we must trust in their value and elevate them to a higher level of responsibility. The speaker acknowledges that this approach may not always work, but encourages leaders to have faith and continue to believe in the potential of others. We conclude by stating that embracing the value of others not only empowers them, but also empowers oneself.
